# Revoke the upload role

`DELETE https://api-vod-express.syncwords.com/v1/account/aws-access`

Revoke the upload role

Stops the role working: nobody can assume it any more, and credentials already issued through it are refused. `GET /account/aws-access` then answers `404`; a later `PUT` restores the role behind a new external id. Only an administrator of your organization, or its API key, may call it.

Not available to the account (`vod_express_not_enabled`, `account_restricted`), or a user who is not an administrator of the organization (`forbidden`).
